On 11th February 2022, St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur parishioners celebrated the feast of our blessed mother, Our Lady of Lourdes at St Lawrence Minor basilica Attur, recalling a series of 18 appearances of Virgin Mary.

A Large number of people gathered in front of the church. Rosary was offered to mother mary. Holy mass was offered in the church garden. Rev. Fr. Alban Dsouza , director of the minor basilica was the main celebrant along with Fr. Roman Mascarenhas, Fr. Melwyn Pinto, Deacon Pradeep Cardoza.

Rev. Fr. Alban Dsouza, in his homily said that a lot of people who visited Lourdes got healed of their sickness and highlighted the significance of the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.

A candle light procession was taken out in the church compound with a palanquin of Our Lady of Lourdes. Devotees carried lightened candles along with them and participated in the celebration and took the blessing of Our Lady of Lourdes. All the prayers and petitions were placed. Special prayers were offered for those suffering from illness. The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes ended with much devotion.
